Bay of Roses, Spain

The existing steeply sloping site and stunning views to the ocean and surrounding mountains suggested an architectural solution that took advantage of the elevated and panoramic views.

This is one of the last undeveloped sites within the locality and there is a wide range of architectural styles that have been developed over the years both of a typical hacienda and more recent vogue.

The scale and mass of the building had to be carefully considered to blend in with the adjacent dwellings.

The exposed ‘frame’ provides essential solar shading to the glazed sliding units which fully take advantage of the elevated panoramic views.

Access from street entry to accommodation level is via a glass fronted lift which will enable views to be fully enjoyed as part of the circulation process.
