Leadhall, Harrogate

Originally this property was a detached single storey bungalow constructing in the 60’s.

Various extensions had been added to the property over the years in an ad hoc manner.

The clients enjoy regular entertaining and their private garden outlook. They wanted to unify the rear of the house in a complimentary manner and also to further introduce natural daylight to the inner spaces. The clients have an eclectic mix of furniture and art work and the architecture serves as a backdrop to these pieces.

The street presentation was embellished with the introduction of a glazed entrance canopy and unifying roof-scape. The marriage between the original and new spaces has been successful and views into the attractively landscaped garden are achieved from the main living spaces within.
